| We are so excited that our gorgeous New Zealand Import, "Scooby Doo" is being used multiple times for Stud. He is a wonderful boy who with a great temperament and an abundance of herding instinct. I imported Scooby at 5 months of age from the famous Clan-Abby Kennels. He finished his Championship easily and possesses a ton of herding instinct & talent. I wish I would have been more serious about his training & trialing in his prime. We are very proud of Scooby and the pedigree behind him. The son of one of the Top Winning Border Collies in the world, Scooby carries a pedigree full of the most sound and beautiful and talented Border Collies in the World. | We can hardly express how excited we are that we have finally chosen a "Husband" for our Gorgeous "Ginny" (Ch. Grayloch-Starlite's Strange Magic RA,CGC). Mark & I have chosen the unbelievable "Flynn" (Multi-BIS Pikkupaimenen Be Brave) in Finland. We are so smitten with Flynn's looks and his wonderful temperament. His Type & Pedigree are a perfect match for our Ginny. Both Flynn & Ginny are Hip Scored "Excellent", and both are Genetically DNA Tested free of CEA/CH & CL. We are all so excited about this breeding, but it will not happen until Ginny has finished her first Herding Title. I promised myself I want her to have a herding title before she is bred. She is in training now and we hope she will finish her Started Title this fall. She will again be in season in December 2010. We hope to breed her then. At Starlite Kennels, we expect ALL of our dogs to have both Championships AND Performance Titles. We strongly believe that a dog should be able to do what it was bred for as well as being an obedient and loyal member of the family. Flynn has already proven he passes his extreme work ethic & desire to please onto his puppies. Ginny also has an extreme work ethic and is VERY intense on Sheep. She LOVES Obedience & Agility and will continue her training & trialing all summer, while she is continuing her herding training. Both Flynn & Ginny are also very affectionate dogs and are able to "turn-off" the crazy BC energy when they are asked to at home, which makes them wonderful members of the family as well as amazing working dogs.
