This month I became a super-model, did some more traveling and went to my first movie!
CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Onto CHAPTER SEVENTEEN.....
Counter
JULY - THREE MONTHS
Next month I will do LOTS of traveling...a bit more camping....a birthday party...a couple of
county fairs...and my first PLANE TRIP!!!!  It will be an action packed month as usual!
....Back to Chapter FIFTEEN
Today is the 4th of July.  Mummy said it is a
really special and an historic day.  She said she
will teach me all about it when I am older.  She
already lets me watch the History channel - so
I am sure I have probably heard something
about it!  But I look forward to her lessons.
So today, we went to the beach.  It was really
fun, but I wish daddy would have let me play in
the sand.  Darn germs.
This weekend Mummy and Daddy took me to a place called the Great Lakes Medieval Faire.  Mummy was so
excited she could hardly sit still in the car on the way there!  She explained to me how much she loves going
to these faires and how excited she is to take me this year.  She keeps talking about how one day she wants
to have a second wedding with Daddy here.  Daddy says he*% no, he is not wearing tights in public!!  It will be
interesting to see who wins this disagreement.  Anyway, I digress, I am not sure what a "Medieval Faire" is all
about, but I am about to find out!!
Here I am with
something called a
Unicorn.  It was very
pretty and shiny!
There are lots of really
strange looking people
here and they talk really
funny.  But these guys
were the STRANGEST!
They actually had FIRE
coming out of their
mouths!  Weird.
Here I am riding on
another pretty and shiny
horse.  I LOVE horses...I
hope daddy will buy me
one someday.
Mummy likes these
ladies a LOT!  They
make her laugh really
loud.  I heard someone
calling them "wenches."
I thought that was a
bad word, but they
don't seem to mind when
people call them that.
Daddy and I are
listening to some pretty
music while daddy gives
me a long lecture about
not being allowed to
become a wench.  Oh
well...the fantasy was
good while it lasted.
To give Mummy a break from all of her hard work on our
kitchen (by herself because daddy still would not help her),
he surprised her by taking us to a drive-in theater!  I have
never been to the movies before so it was even more exciting
that I get to see my first movie at a drive-in!!  Mum said it is a
real privilege for us to have a drive-in close to our house...she
said most of them are gone and not many little girls get to go
anymore.  She said the last time she was at a drive-in she went
with her sister Kathy to see "Grease".  I am not sure what
that movie is, but it must have been a really long time ago!

This is just SO COOL that we get to sit OUTSIDE and watch
the movie.  Daddy even got some popcorn for us.  The movie
we are watching tonight is called Wall-E.  There is a second
feature too, but daddy said he can't stay awake that long.
I can't WAIT to come again.
When daddy got home
from work and saw what
mummy had done...I
pretended to be asleep
so he wouldn't yell at me
too.  I stuck my blanket
in my mouth so I
wouldn't tell mummy
"I told you so."

Daddy woke me up and
asked me if I knew
about all of this, but I
played innocent.  See
how innocent I look.
This is a picture of one of mummy's
pictures.  She took this picture last
year while I was still in her belly.  The
picture, of another one of those
fire-breathers, was so good she won 2nd
place out of the whole faire!!!  She won
us free season passes for this year so we
can go back anytime we want.  Cool.
I hope she wins again this year.  This
faire thing is pretty fun!!!
Geee...where to start...Mummy woke up one morning this
week and while we were having our breakfast together she
told me we were going to start painting the kitchen.  I tried
to tell her we should call daddy first and discuss it with
him, but she pretended not to be able to understand what I
was saying.  Yikes.  While daddy was at work we took all of
the doors off of the cabinets and we went to the store to
buy paint.  By the time daddy got home that night mummy
had all of the doors spread out in the driveway and already
painted white.  She had also already taken all of the
hardware off of the doors and painted them copper.  She
didn't start painting the walls yet though...she said she
would give daddy had one last chance to veto.  Here is a
picture when it was half done.
Being an ultra-sexy
super model is hard
work...really.
Oh Yeah!  Way too sexy for my clothes!  Mummy and daddy realized they had been so busy the last three months,
keeping me alive, they forgot to send out announcements to tell people I had arrived!  So, they tried to do this photo
shoot with me...but I was not very cooperative.  I was really "testing their patience" or something like that, but it
must not have been too bad 'cause these pictures look fine!
Mummy had this bright idea to buy a 12
month onesie and take my picture every
month on my "birthday" to see how I
grow.  Mummy and Aunt Marge found
this one when they were out shopping
together!  Isn't it appropriate!  Hopefully
I will still fit into it on my real 1st
birthday!  I think it would have been
better if she started doing this when I
was born...not when I am 3 months
old...but oh well, better late than never!
So each month, I will start my blog page
with my "birthday" picture so you can see
how I am growing!!!
According to mummy,
this is how she always
ended up when she went
to the drive-in as a little
girl....sound asleep in
the back of the car!
This weekend I went to my first Hunt Trial.
Well, actually it is my second.  Mummy tried to
take me to one last month, but the gunshots
scared me a little and we had to go home.  So
this time, daddy let me see the gun and
explained how it only shoots "blanks" and
cannot hurt me.  And mummy gave me some
really cool earplugs that made the sound
quieter.  So I was OK there and had a great
time visiting with all of Mummy and daddy's
retriever friends!
Finally, the end of
another really long and
exhausting month.
Mummy and daddy take
me everywhere and do
everything with me!!!  We
have so much fun doing
all of our
activities...but now it is
time for a really long
nap!!!
Yup.  Still really darn
cute!!!
When we got home
daddy was still harping
about "beach cooties"
so he made me get a
bath.  Come on,
Beach Cooties?
Well...Mummy's kitchen is finally almost done.  She is at a stand-still until daddy finishes installing her new
dishwasher.  But...the good news is when mummy finished the kitchen and showed daddy he said to mummy that it
was OK if she said "I told you so" to him.  Turns out he really likes the work mummy did and he feels bad for not
supporting her.
Quick, take my picture!
I am a sexy beast!!
Being gorgeous is hard
work.
Sometime recently I discovered that it is really fun to bite things.  Here are some really fun pictures mummy took of
me biting...and biting....and biting.
For Mummy and Daddy's
2nd wedding anniversary
daddy surprised mummy
and took us to a
Cleveland Orchestra
concert.  It was really
cool 'cause we were able
to sit outside on the
grass and I could be
myself and have as much
fun as I wanted!
I really love just hanging out listening to the music.  Mummy was having a really good time playing with me.  Daddy was
having a really good time taking a nap.
I had a real treat when my cousin
Casey came over to our house to
spend the night.  Tomorrow
mummy and I are going to an
alien show - but daddy is going to
a golf tournament instead.
So...mummy asked my cousin
Casey if she would come to the
alien show with us to help
mummy take good care of me!!
Here are pictures of Mummy and Daddy winning on
Sunday.  Mummy has the Ginny Alien and Daddy the
Triple one.  Mummy won with Triple on Saturday too,
but it was WAY too hot to get a picture.

I also got to visit with Grandma Betsy and Grampy
Brian for the weekend.  Here is Grammy giving me a
snack while mummy and daddy are in the ring.
KITCHEN PHOTOS COMING
SOON!
