We could not be happier with our new baby Flash!
His traditional Arabic name means "There was
Lightning".  We think that will be appropriate as he
grows
and begins really competing in coursing &
agility, I think he will be "
fast as lightning".  He is such
a joy to live with.  He is fun and silly and so respectful
of Mary Grace and her boundaries.  We could not be
more proud of Triple's beautiful son.  He is so sound
and well-balanced.  He also is already displaying a
great potential for the performance work that is so
important to Tina.
Now that he has finished his
conformation championship, he will take a couple
years off from the show ring to grow up and
concentrate on his f
ormal Obedience & agility
training. We just love him so very much and we are so
very proud to be part of Mary Dee's extended family!!!
 Look for this spectacular boy
in the performance
rings for a few years, then as a special when he
grows up!

This is Flash on "Everybody gets their video taken" day.
You can hear Mary Grace in the background VERY upset
that she does not get to handle HER puppy this time.
Flash is 16 weeks here.
Flash at his very first training class and his first time
on his leash.  He had a great time with Mary Grace!!
Here I am on my first night in my new home.  My
grandma & grandpa came to pick me up and bring
me to live with my daddy.  He did not like me
right away...so it was a good thing my sister
Biannah came to stay with me for a little while.
We are 10 weeks old in these pictures.
The next day my sister & I went on a little road
trip with my new mum, Tina, to visit Aunt
LeaAnne.  We had a great time playing in her
HUGE yard and getting all muddy in the rain.
Mum said it was really great to drive 3 hours all
the way home with wet Saluki puppy smell in her
new car.  Glad we could oblige.
Here I am at my first dog show!!!  I am 6 mos
& 1 week old and I even beat a CHAMPION
to win my first point!!!!  My mum & dad
were so happy!!!!
Mom & Dad were so busy taking pictures and stuff that I didn't really get to show much between January and June.  So
there are not too many pictures of me during this time - unless you count the ones of me playing in the snow!!!
But once I started showing again in June, there was NO STOPPING ME!!!!!
This is me winning my 3rd or 4th Best of
Breed.  Unfortunately there were no points
for me, so I still have only 1 point.  ;-(
I had an AMAZING Saluki National!!!!  My sister & I were the ONLY puppies, in the WHOLE SHOW, to win a
placement under ALL THREE BREEDER JUDGES!!!!!  My family was so proud of us!!!
I also got to show with my Daddy as a Brace, that was FUN!  My Daddy & brother & I won a placement in Stud Dog!!
As fun as it was to play Show Dog and win tons of ribbons for my mum & dad...One afternoon, when I was all done being
pretty, mum put this funny coat on me and told me we were going to go "chase bunnies".  I did not know what she meant,
and the coat made me look silly, but whatever "chasing bunnies" is...I LOVE IT!!!!!!  I am still only a baby, so I only got to
run with other babies....but boy did I ever have fun!!!  I can't wait till mum takes me to do it again!
We took the month of June off again, so mummy could spend all her time processing Saluki pictures!!!  During that time me
and my brothers and sisters had our big 1 year Birthday Party!!!  It feels weird to not be a baby anymore.
But in mid-July I finally got to start playing show-doggy again and BOY DID I LIKE IT!!!
My first dog show back, I won BEST OF BREED over a CHAMPION again!!!  These pictures above are of me in the
hound group with my daddy.
In July we went to 7 dog shows.  I won 1 Specialty Best in Sweeps, 5 Winners Dog, 3 Best of Winners,
4 Best of Opposite, 1 Best of Breed and 4 Points towards my Championship.
In August we went to 2 dog shows.  But mummy & daddy said these doggy shows were a little different.  They were
something called "majors".  I wasn't sure what that meant, so I just thought I should win both and make mummy happy.
Flash has a hard time keeping his feet on the
ground.  He likes to "Jump for Joy" as often
as he can.  He has SO MUCH FUN in the
ring that it really is hard to keep him from
jumping for joy!
After I won all those points last summer, I took a year off to grow up a bit, then mummy brought me back out this summer to
get my last few singles, but instead I just won another one of those "major" things.  Mum said I am a Champion now.
